The way to my heart is simple – a bowl of chips and salsa. Not all treats have to be healthy, right?

I’m a beach lover, and my favorite place to soak in the sun is along the Gulf Coast of Florida, 30A (aka Nashville’s beach)!

I’ve had the amazing privilege to travel the world, but Mexico will always hold a special place in my heart.
5) My Linguistic Journey: A Minor in Spanish
Surprise, I speak Spanish. Kind of. But I did minor in it and spent a summer living abroad in Puebla, MX.
6) A Blonde-turned-Redhead
Would you believe that this redhead was actually born with blonde hair? As a child, I had striking white-blonde hair that gradually darkened to a sandy hue around first grade. Over time, it settled into my kind of red, which I am proud to sport today.
7) A Family Legacy: Construction Business
I come from a long line of entrepreneurs. My family’s construction business has been around for over 70 years.
8) Making the First Move on Rory
Now, for a dash of romance! I had to encourage my now husband to make the first move with a little nudge and a loud “just do it” declaration. Best decision ever!
9) A Dream in Progress: Writing Kids’ Books
One of my dreams is to write children’s books with my kids.

I have a special pillow named Squishy that I have been sleeping with for over 17 years.

Once upon a time, I was a vegan for five years.

I started ballet when I was 3 years old and danced all the way until I graduated high school.

SEC all the way… although I am always a hometown fan so “Go Titans”!
14) I’m Not Very Good But Love To Play
Finally, my preferred sport to play is tennis. Although I won’t claim to be a pro, I love every minute spent on the court.
