AI is everywhere right now. It’s the buzzword in every boardroom, every podcast, every LinkedIn post. And while AI can do a lot of things, it will only replace you if you let it. My husband and I recently recorded the audiobook version of Wealthy and Well-Known. Before we got in the studio, we had AI read the entire book using ElevenLabs. And let me tell you, it did a fantastic job. It told the stories, read the facts, and pronounced every word perfectly.
But you know what it didn’t do? It didn’t feel anything. It didn’t relive the stories with us. It didn’t laugh at our jokes. It didn’t inject human emotion into the message. That’s because AI can replicate information, but it can’t replicate humanity. And that’s where your personal brand lives—in the emotion, the connection, the realness that only you can bring to the table.
There is a place for AI in business. It can help you automate, scale, and even create content faster. But there’s also a place where AI has no seat at the table—and that’s in your personal connection with your audience. You have something AI will never have: your story, your authenticity, your heart.
So, the challenge isn’t whether AI will replace you. The challenge is: Will you let it? Or will you lean into the parts of your brand that AI can never touch?
